3. Journey through the desert of addiction (03/12)

The hopelessness and loneliness that I used to feel in the face of an ever-changing world that really made little sense to me. The true fragility of life, the sadness of the realization that everything changes all the time. The despairing attempt to escape this hard truth of change, of death and rebirth. The addiction of Maya that came from my desperate attempt to escape the harsh and brutal nature of existence. The eternal wanderer who will never find peace and joy.

But also the curious nature of my being, the need to explore and see what is beyond my normal reality, the true passion that I have for living, the true calling that was always there. The importance of truly and freely expressing yourself and the importance of connecting in a true, honest and authentic way with myself and others. There was also the power to be vulnerable, to let myself love what I am in the true sense of the word and to manage to see the beauty of our world because of the two opposite forces and not despite one of them. Death and rebirth, a never-ending cycle.
