This is the second song from the series. It’s about the many illusions that I used to believe in. Illusions that came off like layers of an onion once I’ve started to listen and feel my own truth. I’m trying through this song to express the way it felt to be a part of a world that didn’t make sense any more.
The rage, the pain, the desillusion, and the confusion that appeared after I’ve realized the emptiness in the form I was desperately trying to control and have. The clinging of my mind to the models and things that I used to think to be important. The noise and the madness of a way of being that was not mine, but imposed on me as “truth” in my early life. The internal fight to make sense of something in such a noisy reality. To truly understand what or who this “I” is, the ”I” that I call self.
“I know I was born and I know that I will die; the “in” between is mine.”
